The Oryx is built for continuous, often heavy use. Its magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and strong. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, and cold. At the same time, the metal housing effectively dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizes image noise, and increases the consistency of the device’s operation during long-term observation.
